39c3: thanks for playing!

We once again thank you for your numerous pixels that were set during 39c3.

After carefully archiving, post-processing and sharing all of the collected data, we can confidently say that we set at least one more pixel during congress than at gpn23.

On a serious note: We had 1287 change requests (that's 915 more than at gpn23!) from 186 sources. In total, that's 6927 pixels that were changed on the board.

The top user of our phone bot changed 324 pixels in total.

We were up and running from day 0 (2025-12-26) at 18:00 to late after teardown on day 4 (2025-12-30) at around 19:00 when the last pixel was set and we shut down our servers.

This means that we were the longest running art installation at congress, thanks to our rock-solid internet uplink failover thingy (blogpost coming soon!).

All in all, the project ran from 2025-06-19 around 14:00 to 2025-06-22 at 14:00 and in that timeframe we had 372 change requests from exactly 100 sources.
